Noel LaChance, sometimes writing as D. Noel LaChance, was born in Los Angeles and raised in a pastor’s home where books filled every corner of his world. From an early age, Scripture and literature shaped his imagination and instilled in him a love for writing. His journey has taken him from military service in Germany to careers in law, teaching, business, and hospitality, each experience broadening his perspective and deepening his compassion for people.

An avid reader, hiker, and skier, Noel has always drawn strength from both nature and faith. His passion for writing began with poetry during his time in the military and grew into a lifelong search for sharing wisdom, truth, and encouragement. His latest book, Come to the Quiet: Beside the Still Waters, reflects his mission to help others find peace and spiritual renewal in God’s presence.
